January 2016
What a wonderful end to 2015 with the Victorian Market weekend and our amazing Christmas Big Sing . 2016 is already gearing up to be a busy and exciting year with performances at local festivals , Linskills Easter and Summer fairs , the Community Choir show at the Playhouse just for starters .
July 2015
Can you believe it?? we are into our final term of the year, I don't know about you but this choir year seems to be flying by and what
a year its been so far....
We were almost blown into the River Tyne singing for the opening of the Net but despite the wind and cold, we deliver the goods as usual giving a stirring rendition of home for the first time.
I was immensly proud of everyone and hear that many of you sensible enough to find a local pub to warm up in afterwards.
We had lots of good publicity from it and some lovely praise
from the Mayor and the Chairman of the Net.
Gilsland Break - April 2015
What a weekend!! I have to say that there was a moment when i watched over
almost 100 of us board the coaches outside Linskill on the Saturday morning
and I thought 'oh my goodness, please let this work out well.' I need not have
worried because every single person made our time away a brilliant success.
I really hope that those who couldn't make it this time can come next year
because we really did have a blast!
The Counterfeit Sixties - April 2015
If that wasn't enough it was home, change and getting
ready to be the backing singers for the Counterfeit Sixties
at the Whitley Bay Playhouse. Once again, you gave your
all to another new experience. We have had tremendous
feedback from the audience and from the band.

Great Opportunity for 2016!
In 2016 we do have an opportunity as a choir to participate in a massive world choir performance at Cardiff's Millenium stadium.
Lead by a leading conductor and a professional orchestra we would be singing with 20,000 people from around the world.
I know its quite a way to travel but Paul and I have been looking into costings and flights.
Its scheduled for May next year and I think it could be a truly inspiring experience for us. Who is interested?
Paul and I are always interested to listen to your idea's and views about how things are going in the choir. We want you to enjoy
singing together and have some lovely performing experiences. So, if anyone has any idea's for performances, events or social
repetoires please let us know. It's an absolute joy to work with Linskill Community Choir and Paul and I would like to thank you
all so much for your loyal support and the brilliant energy you bring to each performance. To infinity and beyond!!
